Here is her testimony, her journey, told in her own words.
Age, gender, family situation, profession, city.
“I have reached a certain age, or rather a considerable age, a little beyond 70 years old.
I am a man who enjoys expressing his feminine side.
I am married, now retired, former electronics engineer.
I have lived for about fifty years in a very beautiful region: Brittany, more precisely in Côtes-d’Armor.”
What was the first sign?
“If I call on my memory, the first signs of transgression appeared very early.
There was a cupboard at home where we put all the old clothes to use them as rags, and it was there that I discovered my wonderland.
What a pleasure to put on old dresses or blouses and become, for a few hours, someone else in my mother’s clothes.”
“These ideas faded with adolescence, although they were still present deep inside me.
I have always appreciated the aesthetics of women’s clothing and, whenever I saw a woman wearing pretty clothes, I sometimes imagined myself dressed the same way, which gave me some emotions.”
When did you take action for the first time?
“With time, ideas making their way, they returned more and more often in my thoughts.
And one day, in a discount store, I let what could be considered madness express itself: I bought my first women’s clothes.”
“What an emotion when, for the first time, during a holiday moment when I was alone at home, I dressed from head to toe as a woman and discovered my female self.”
“Happiness.
I liked my appearance, even if it was far from perfect.
Some anxiety, because at that time I kept it secret.
And also a form of fulfillment.
I was comfortable.
That woman who appeared was a revelation of what existed inside me and just wanted to express itself.”
“I prefer to intensely live moments, a few hours or a day in the skin of my female double, without wanting to make it an everyday rule.”
Why this desire?
“I have often asked myself where this desire came from.
Is there something deep in my subconscious remaining from my birth, when my parents only expected the birth of a girl, to the point that I was given a name long after I was born?”
“Maybe that’s a question for a psychiatrist.
For me, one thing is certain: living my female double brings me peace, an intense well-being.
Maybe also the pleasure of transgressing conventions.”
“Regarding society, I prefer to keep discretion about this aspect of my personality.
As for my children, it’s a secret.”
“As for my partner, it’s different.
We have shared a very strong bond since always, and she knows me through my feminine side.
She accepts it inside the house, one day at a time.”
“My desire for femininity is limited to an aesthetic aspect, with a preference for what is classic and tasteful, which suits her very well.”
“For a few years now, I have felt the need to live these moments of femininity in society.
After overcoming the hurdle of going out, I find extraordinary pleasure in shopping in stores or walking dressed as a woman.
The ultimate joy is when a cashier calls you Madame…”
“In feminization, the appearance of the face is what people see first, and makeup counts a lot.
It is both an art and a profession.
While one can take some artistic liberties, the result is not always the best.”
“After browsing Jennifer’s blog, the idea came to contact her.
There was a problem: we live far apart and I couldn’t come to her studio.
Fortunately, technology solves this problem.
