In this month of June, Pride Month, I wanted to share with you a particularly touching new testimony.
Sarah came to experience several Transbeauté sessions.
She also took part in the first Transbeauté evening.
She has become a true “Jen’s Girl!”
Of course, we also did a personalized makeup session.
So we can say that Sarah is following a real journey with Transbeauté!
In her testimony, Sarah tells about the first signs, the clothes, the makeup, the way she sees herself, family, fears, and then that very intense moment: the one when you finally decide to go out.
I won’t say more.
I’ll let you discover her words.
They are sincere, sensitive, and I believe they will speak to many people who, like her, are moving forward in their own way towards who they really are.

My name is Sarah, I’m 28 years old, and I’m single.
I’m a man in everyday life, I live in Seine-et-Marne, and I work in IT.
The first signs of cross-dressing appeared around adolescence, at 14 or 15 years old.
For no particular reason, in the bathroom, I placed two shower flowers under my pajamas to imagine a female bust.
I found myself beautiful.
I experienced an intriguing and satisfying pleasure.
It gradually faded from my mind, because I associated it with my puberty and my attraction to women.
Then I focused on my classes and studies.
At first, this desire was very occasional.
But since living alone, since 2020, I naturally have time to focus on myself, and this desire comes back more and more often.
A sign from fate or just a coincidence: one day, I ordered a man’s coat online.
I was pleasantly surprised to find that the package also contained, by mistake, a shaping women's short.
Wearing it gave me an indescribable satisfaction.
It was the first time I experienced dressing as a pleasure and not a chore.
A revelation.
Even if I don’t yet fully understand why, it brings me well-being.
Calm.
Self-confidence.
Self-esteem, by being attentive to my appearance.
It also gives me a feeling of freedom, the idea of freeing myself from society’s conventions about clothing, which make no sense to me.
Some women’s clothes are so beautiful and comfortable to wear.
It happened gradually, first at home.
I started by wearing tights, then nail polish, makeup, heels, and skirts.
For several months, I kept telling myself it was just curiosity.
And then appreciation came.
The gaze.
Self-admiration like never before.
In two years, I ended up being kind to myself and accepted that this was part of my personality.

I adapt my gender expression depending on the people.
With strangers, if it bothers them, that’s their problem, because I’m not hurting anyone.
On the family side, only one woman in my family knows I cross-dress.
She’s my closest relative, and it went well.
It’s more complicated with the rest of the family, because the mentality there is very traditional, and I don’t want to cause trouble for no reason.
I keep living my life, without necessarily saying everything, and that suits me perfectly.
I continue practicing makeup.
I work on my passing to go out more often.
I would also like to raise awareness around me that breaking gender stereotypes is not a big deal.
At work, I’m shaved and I wear long polished nails.
I’m more attentive to inclusivity in general.
A breath of fresh air.
A quality service to be advised in a safe environment.
Unshakeable positivity.
And above all, a gain of self-confidence that gave me unexpected courage.
Not only the courage to express my femininity, but also the courage to do in life what I love without anxiety.
Whether you are in full exploration of your gender identity or simply a man who likes to express himself through cross-dressing, coming to you is entering a space where this femininity is celebrated, never judged.
After your makeup session, I went on my first shopping outing.
I went alone.
The result was convincing.
In the shopping center parking lot, my heart was pounding.
I got out of the car.
I stopped thinking.
I walked towards the shops with determined steps.
If I believe in it, the world believes it too.
The Saturday crowd goes about their business.
The tension lowers and the euphoria rises.
The shadows of doubt can no longer keep up with my pace.
The few saleswomen I spoke to were kind.
One of them offered me a dress featuring a watercolor pattern on a black background.
It was a new emotion, as if my gaze had just learned to love differently.
And the best afternoon of my life unfolded.
One month later, my first evening out.
The dress suits me well.
I know how much courage it takes to put into words what you feel, what you discover about yourself, and what you finally dare to live.
At Transbeauté, I wish for every person to find a safe, caring, and non-judgmental space.
A place where you can try, learn, see yourself differently, apply makeup, feminize, reveal yourself, or just breathe a little.
If you also feel this desire to live a Transbeauté experience, to work on your image, your makeup, your femininity, or your confidence, I will be happy to support you.
And in this month of June, I wish you a wonderful Pride Month.
May this Pride Month be a celebration of all identities, all journeys, all beauties, and above all the right to be fully yourself.
