I share her testimony with you
My name is Sophie, 47 years old (since the day I came to Jennifer).
I am a travesti, divorced for a little over two years, father of a 20-year-old boy.
I have now been working in green spaces for 30 years and have always lived in the Lille region.
The first sign of my inner femininity appeared around the age of 8, when my big brother put lipstick on me to mock me.
I remember my internal reaction: "wow…".
This desire for femininity has never left me since.
This permanent “desire” has kept growing for nearly 40 years and has now become a need.
An obvious truth!!!
Why this desire?
I have no clear idea…
It’s there, I like it, it NEVER leaves me and I couldn’t live without it.
This desire, which is really a need, gives me inner peace, the feeling of being myself.
The opportunity to fully travesti publicly came at age 20, during a costume party.
That day remains engraved in my memory as the moment I realized I could no longer fight this femininity.
It’s the day I accepted!
My only fears come from my parents, who don’t know Sophie, but also from my boy who is aware, tolerant, but doesn’t want to learn more.
I’m not afraid of society.
On the contrary, I need it to live Sophie fully.
Embarrassment is not part of my vocabulary.
I am in “full freedom” mode.
I imagine my next feminization steps but I don’t schedule them.
I let them come as opportunities arise; I let life take its course.
Currently, I’m fighting my beard with laser sessions.
