Since the beginning of the Transbeauté adventure in 2019, I have always highlighted my Clients💄, their journeys, their emotions, their transformations.
But today, I wanted to switch roles and talk to you about my typical day, from my point of view. The behind-the-scenes, so to speak.
Because I, too, live these days intensely.
So here, through a few questions, is my own testimony.

I’m 40 years old, and I have been a makeup artist since I was 20. I chose this profession and have continued on this path ever since.
At first, I only did makeup for women, then I discovered another part of my job that I really enjoyed: Transbeauté.
I would say it’s more that transgender and cross-dressing people chose me.
I wrote an article on my wedding blog titled: “How to do makeup when you are transgender.” This article was hugely read, and I started receiving calls.
I grew fond of this new clientele, for whom I felt a lot of empathy and friendship. I sensed a need, so I dived into it completely.
I think that beyond the technical aspect, there is a lot of emotion and psychology. I am also a confidante, a shoulder to lean on…
I am present with listening and kindness, without judgment.
I take the time to do my beauty routine; I want my image to be pleasant but, above all, approachable. I always stay very simple, with light and natural makeup, a casual but still nice outfit.
I always enjoy opening the door of my home, because indeed I share my home with my clients.
It’s also a way to say: “don’t worry, everything will go well.” It’s a cocoon you are about to enter.
My ritual is that everything is perfect. Everyone who’s been here has definitely noticed it 😃! A very perfectionist side 😉

Her strengths: beautiful eyes, long lashes, nice skin, full lips…
My favorite moment: discovering the result, eyes sparkling with happiness, a spontaneous boost of confidence… Then the photos! I love that, because it’s so important to finally look at yourself and love yourself as you are!
I always feel a happy emotion because I know from the start they are going to be delighted!
To reveal their inner beauty. Many of my clients don’t love themselves as men, but as women, they love and find themselves beautiful! I aim to convey self-confidence.
I choose the styles and have them try them on. Then we see what happens 😉
They smile, they cry, they say to me: “Wow, this is incredible!”
Right away! It’s automatic for me. I always know what they’ll like, especially because that’s what matters most. Things may suit us well, but that doesn’t mean we love them…
I highlight them as much as possible, speaking to them in a way that helps them relax.

Because it’s a unique moment they will remember all their lives. Every detail counts.
I like that they confide in me, I like seeing them reveal themselves, blossom, smile. Simply be happy.
Yes, very often. I’m very sensitive, and their stories always touch me deeply.
I take them to shops, pick out outfits, and then off to the fitting rooms for an amazing discovery moment!
Over time, they open up, become more comfortable and confident.
My role is to push them to be who they are deep inside themselves.

It’s crazy because even when I don’t have much energy, a dip in morale… well, after such a day of sharing, I’m recharged, satisfied. Happiness is contagious.
It’s true that I would like to see them again, at least to hear from them, to know if everything went well as they wished.
That there is an extremely important coaching and psychological aspect.
Yes, very much so, and that suits me perfectly.
The confidences, the tears at the moment of discovery.
What also touches me deeply are those rare moments when couples come together. When the partner is there, present, kind, there’s an incredible complicity. It’s a unique bond made of respect, love, and support. You immediately feel that there is something precious between them. It’s simply beautiful, and every time, it’s a true privilege to witness those moments.
People often say, even too often: “You only live once.” But unfortunately, it’s a phrase people know without really understanding what it means.
We always put things off until tomorrow.
We overthink too much… but life goes by.
I would say to those who want to live this moment: don’t think anymore, do it now. Because everything can change so quickly in life…
Don’t postpone until tomorrow what you can do today.
I never really know how a day will end, but I do know one thing: I always start it with an open heart.
What I love above all is seeing your eyes shine, feeling the confidence that grows little by little, and telling myself at the end: “yes, this is why I do this job.”
Each encounter is different, and yet there is always the same magic.
So thank you to all those who have already come, and to those who will come…
I’m simply waiting for you.
