First of all, to feminize a man, it mainly comes down to 2 aspects: the outfit and the makeup. Indeed, there are a few rules to follow to highlight your face and feminize it.
Here are my tips!

Makeup for crossdressers, transgender people (mtf) shares many similarities with makeup for cisgender women. Yes indeed! There are just a few differences to know.

First and foremost, you need to invest in some essential products for your makeup bag because they will make all the difference.
Plan a budget of €150-200 if you currently have nothing, and choose quality products because it really changes everything on your skin. I work a lot with the products from the Make Up For Ever brand, which I find to be of good quality.

So, in my “short list,” here are 9 products that form the “base.”

Mandatory and essential our product n°1: beard concealer

First: It’s obvious that you need to be shaved. But in addition, you need to add beard concealer, which is essential to camouflage your beard and cover the grayish area caused by the hair.

Choose the shade according to your skin tone and apply it directly until it covers the entire area.

Secondly: the HD smoothing primer Make Up For Ever

Next, I use this smoothing primer for all my clients. It facilitates makeup application and guarantees the flawless hold of your makeup throughout the day.

I apply it using a flat foundation brush. Put a small amount on the brush and spread the product over the entire face, except the eyelids and neck.

And of course number 3 is a must-have: the HD foundation Make Up For Ever

Thirdly, another essential: the foundation will even out your complexion and brighten your face.
Apply it lightly; you absolutely want to avoid excess which can look vulgar. Stay in a shade close to your skin tone and use your brush to blend it on the face and neck.

Product n°4: Pro Bronze powder Make Up For Ever

The powder removes shine and smooths the complexion.

Likewise, stay in a shade close to your skin tone and use a large brush to apply it to the face and neck.

Product n°5: blush

Blush helps to highlight your cheekbones. To apply it, smile in front of a mirror and lightly apply it on the cheekbones.
The overall effect should be soft and give a natural finish.

Product n°6: an eyebrow pencil

However, it is important to shape your eyebrows.
Benefits workshops at Sephora do this very well.
Then redraw them using an eyebrow pencil. Remember to comb them with the brush to also blend the product and avoid clumps.

Product n°7: eyeshadow

Avoid very dark shades if you are a beginner because those shades are harder to apply.
Taupe is a good compromise that you can apply with an eyeshadow brush.

Ombre à paupière
Mascara

Product n°8: mascara

It’s essential to accentuate your gaze.
Opt for a volumizing mascara.

rouge à lèvres

Product n°9: lipstick

In my opinion, nothing beats a red lipstick because it’s very feminine.

And so, here is already a nice list, not exhaustive (you could add concealer…)

But in the end, if you want to develop your skills, don’t hesitate to take a class to learn all the techniques to apply your makeup properly.

And for your information... my clients often come with their makeup bag so I can show them how to use it correctly.
