Your manners and body language play an important role in your image as a woman.
In fact, they account for more than 50% of the impression you make on people!

When embarking on the quest for femininity, whether you are a crossdresser or a transgender person in MtF (male to female) transition, appearance is not limited to makeup or clothes.

Your manners and body language play a key role in the impression you leave on others.

Indeed, over 50% of the image you project is influenced by these elements!

So, how to look like a woman when you are a man?

How to have a credible and harmonious passing in a world that still lacks openness on these topics?

In this article, I offer you 5 essential tips to refine your feminine manners and create an image that reflects your identity, whether you are in transition or simply exploring crossdressing.

Work the S-curve

A small drawing for a big difference

Curves are the very symbol of femininity.

However, beyond physical appearance, your posture can also reflect this allure.

For this, adopt an S-curve. How?

When you are standing, place your weight on one leg and slightly push out your hip, creating a rounder and softer silhouette, contrasting with the more angular posture often associated with masculinity.

Tips

Keep your weight on one side, but don’t force the pose. It should look natural.

Also adopt this S-curve when you are sitting, crossing your legs or shifting your weight onto one hip.

Just…simple. The hardest part? Remembering to do it!

Don’t take up too much space

A wide, open posture is often perceived as an expression of power and is more commonly associated with masculinity.

On the other hand, a more closed and compact posture will help you appear more feminine and graceful.

To avoid

Don’t slump in an attempt to look smaller. Stand straight, but maintain a slender rather than broad appearance.

Keep your elbows and legs close to your body, without taking up too much space.

Adopt graceful gestures

Gestures are an integral part of feminine body language.

Women tend to be more expressive, using our hands and movements to illustrate what we say.

Becoming aware of how you move can transform how you are perceived.

Tips

Favor fluid and controlled gestures.

Avoid sudden or nervous movements.

Observe the women around you to incorporate softer gestures into your daily interactions.

Don’t forget your facial expressions

Your expressions reflect your emotions and greatly influence how people perceive you.

A relaxed and pleasant face can not only put others at ease but also reinforce your femininity.

To avoid

Don’t let a neutral or stoic face dominate, which could seem cold or severe.

A slight smile can brighten your face and soften your features.

Practice maintaining a gentle and welcoming expression, even during stressful moments.

Master the art of eye contact

Do you recognize Carla?

Eye contact is a powerful communication tool.

As a transgender or crossdressing person, it is essential to develop a confidence that shines through in your interactions.

Tips

Look people in the eyes with assurance, without quickly looking away.

Maintain eye contact for a few seconds to show your confidence, without overdoing it.

My bonus tip: "vibe"

These tips are just a small part of the journey toward femininity.

Your femininity isn’t only about outward appearance, but also how you move, how you communicate and… how you vibe.

It is this overall vibration, this inner glow that will make you authentically feminine.

Remember this word: vibration, because everything starts there.
