At Transbeauté, I welcome each person with respect, kindness, and gentleness.
For several years now, I have had the privilege of receiving transgender or crossdressing people in my studio (I will never say it enough, that’s why I’m writing it again!!), each with a story, dreams, doubts… and often, that little inner voice saying: “I will never be feminine enough.”
This photo highlights the transformational aspect of the image, emphasizing the duality between the man’s appearance and his reflection.
Yes my dears, I know you and I hear your thoughts, yes I understand you.
But let me tell you one important thing: femininity has no universal model.
It’s not measured by perfect makeup, nor by a silhouette, nor by what you see on Instagram.
I repeat — and didn’t my previous article talk about it?
But let’s go further.
When you say you’ll never be this or that, actually… you are comparing yourself.
And yet, comparing yourself to others – cisgender or further along in their transition – can be a painful reflex and I see it: Very common.

Social media is a gallery of illusions.
It shows the best, often retouched for some…
What you don’t see: hours of doubt, hidden complexes, behind-the-scenes efforts.
For some, the incredible amount of time spent.
Plus, with the arrival of AI… (I’ll give you examples at the end of the page!)
Remember: you compare your daily life to their shop window, or worse, to AI. And that’s never good for self-confidence.
Feeling envy is not a fault.
On the contrary, it indicates an aspiration.
Rather than judging yourself, ask: “What does this person inspire in me?”
Maybe it’s their style, their confidence, or just their ability to embrace themselves.
Take inspiration from them to set small goals.
A look to try, a makeup workshop at Transbeauté (oh yes my dear..), a photo shoot just for you… Every step is a gift.
The more time you spend observing, the more doubts settle in. What if you tried something else? A walk in a dress, a moment with people who support you, an activity that makes you feel alive.
Movement is the enemy of doubt. Your femininity isn’t lived through likes, but through lived moments. Real life, you know!
The testimony of Anäelle, for example, shows how revealing her femininity through small concrete experiences can transform self-confidence. She dared, she revealed herself — and today, she shines!
Some people maintain comparison and judgments. Here, at Transbeauté, I want the opposite: a space of welcome, respect, light.
Surround yourself with those who make you feel good. If you haven’t found them yet, know that they exist – and that the community is here for you.
An opportunity to discover others like “les Jen’s Girls”: check out my articles about Charly’s dinners on this blog, for example! Dîner de Charly
What you feel is legitimate. But what you are is equally so. There is not a single way to be a woman. Not a single definition of beauty. And certainly no hierarchy between femininities.
What matters is what makes you vibrate, what soothes you, what makes you proud.
If this article spoke to you, share it, comment on it, bring it alive.
Tell me how you live your own relationship to comparison.
Here, every voice matters.
Every testimony can enlighten another.
And if you want to go further, book a session at Transbeauté with me.
We will talk femininity, image, confidence… with kindness and zero judgment.
Because you deserve to feel beautiful, your way, and above all: free to be yourself.
