But know this: in Paris, many places welcome you whether you are transgender, crossdressers, or otherwise, all in a caring and festive atmosphere.

Transbeauté collaborates with the Drôles de dames evenings!

Here is our selection for going out freely and having fun fully expressing your femininity:
• La MDT (Maison des Transgenres, Travestis), rue des Dames, Paris 17e. It is the first French private transgender club that has existed for nearly 25 years. The evenings are open twice a week on Wednesdays and Fridays from 10 PM. Admission is €40 and includes a dressing room, a cloakroom, open bar, and the show or themed party. You can totally get ready on-site.

• “Le Chateau des Lys” The venue seems to become itinerant but the parties still exist, see the link organizing the Drôles De Dames evenings (called DDD), 103 rue Marcadet, Paris 18e. The motto of these evenings is: “Evening of the 3rd gender, transgender, crossdresser and those who love them. The Drôles de dames evening brings together GLAMOUR, AESTHETICS, FREEDOM TO ACT, THE DESIRE TO PARTY WITH 3RD GENDER PEOPLE.” Check their site for dates and program. Next evening January 7, 2023 Next one August 5, 2023!
• The Escualita evenings are parties for transsexuals… (uh… we now prefer the term transgender, right!) and crossdressers organized in Paris for 20 years.
These parties are intended for the entire LGBT community where transgender and crossdressers are of course very welcome.
• Le Tango, the thrill club, 11 rue au Maire, Paris 3e. It’s a venue open to everyone on Fridays, Saturdays, and eves of holidays.
Themed evenings are organized before midnight, followed by a dance party with a mix of musical genres.
On Sundays, a tea dance by LGBT associations takes place from 6 to 11 PM. A very friendly place. (Reopening imminent! update December 2022).
This is expected for January 2023. Le Tango reopened March 10, 2023!
• Le We Club, 83 rue Quincampoix, Paris 3e is a swinger club. But the place organizes once a month T-Girl evenings. You can stay informed of the program directly on their site.
• Le Key West, 141 rue Lafayette, Paris 10e is a gay sauna that occasionally organizes parties, including some transgender and crossdressers’ evenings. (Update December 2022)
• Le Banana Café, 13 rue de la Ferronnerie, Paris 1e is a bar historically gay but open to all.
Numerous parties with diverse themes are held there.
• Madame Arthur, 75 bis rue des Martyrs, Paris 18e is a travesti cabaret in the heart of Pigalle open since 1946.
Many renowned transgender or crossdresser artists have graced the stage of this place.
It was closed for several years but revived in 2015.
• Chez Michou, 80 bis rue des Martyrs, Paris 18e is probably the most famous cabaret for transformist artists in Paris.
Arti Show Cabaret, 3 cité Souzy, Paris 11e offers you a real show celebrating transformists.

New places have emerged, for example, we immediately think of the unmissable “Oh Quai Latin!”, but not only.
